"The Flash" Trailer 2 Unveils Epic Worlds Colliding Action and Star-Studded Cast

"The Flash" is a highly anticipated standalone feature film directed by Andy Muschietti, known for "IT" and "Mama," and starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, aka The Flash. The film is set to release on June 16, 2023, in North America and a day earlier in some international markets. 


The movie follows Barry Allen, who uses his powers to travel back in time to change the past, but his actions inadvertently alter the future. In this new reality, General Zod has returned, and there are no superheroes left to save the world. To make things right, Barry must coax a different version of Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian, albeit not the one he was looking for. The fate of the universe lies in Barry's hands, and he must make the ultimate sacrifice to reset the timeline.

"The Flash" boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel VerdĂș, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton. The movie is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson and a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC.


The film's creative team includes director of photography Henry Braham, production designer Paul Denham Austerberry, editors Jason Ballantine and Paul Machliss, costume designer Alexandra Byrne, and composer Benjamin Wallfisch.
