The PNG Kumuls can take some positives after the narrow defeat to the Tongans. They proved they are more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the world's best nations.
The PNG Kumuls put pressure on the Cook Islands' key players Jonathan Ford, Esan Marsters and Brad Takairangi and take control of the contest with the first try.
